ASIA MINOR. Uncertain. Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. 'Sestertius' (Orichalcum, 36 mm, 23.48 g, 1 h), circa 25 BC. AVGVSTVS Bare head of Augustus to right. Rev. Large C A within laurel wreath. RIC I 501. RPC I 2233. SNG von Aulock 6671. A bold and unusually well preserved example of this impressive issue with attractive earthen highlights. Minor roughness, otherwise, very fine.
